K9 contract

when we had the meeting with K9 last week, we discovered that there is no actual contract found in the records of the Town Hall. It would appear that it was only a verbal agreement. However it was agreed with Brenda that bills would still be paid. It was intimated that to continue, a new contract would have to be drawn up.

So now what your saying is Jeff that K9 did not have a legal contract it was just a verbal contract. I like you Jeff your doing something councillors dont often do and thats tell it how it is. So why was the public never informed before regarding K9 didnt have a legal contract with San Fulgencio. Well things are coming to light now. one thing i would like to ask jeff is, if your paying K9 bills and there is no legal contract what about SATS will you pay there bills seeing as they try to re-home animals too and have kennels to keep running

Hi Jeff, We know that you are on holiday at the moment, but Brenda had a meeting with the mayor this morning, and he confirmed that they do have their copy of the existing contract with K9 regarding the Ambulance Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

It has been brought to my attention that within a few days of taking over the San Fulgencio Town Hall the new coalition government team, which includes Jeff Wisniewski, called Cereco Pound in Crevillente and arranged for them to collect any abandoned animals found in the San Fulgencio municipality, an arrangement that will see them coming here in their vans to collect all stray, lost and abandoned animals. They are being taken to Crevillente, many of them never to be seen again. The Cereco pound has a policy of killing dogs and cats not claimed or rehomed. Most people know that in 2007 the then new councillor for animal welfare, Mark Lewis, cancelled the contract that this Town Hall had with Cereco pound due to their very bad reputation and because the conditions that the animals are
kept in at this pound was horrific. Can Mr. Wiszniewski please tell us why he has not told the truth regarding K9, their contract with the Town Hall and the animal ambulance. He first claimed that the keys to the animal ambulance were taken from the K9 animal welfare volunteers because the ITV
certificate had expired, but the ITV had not expired. He then posted on this forum that K9 do not have a contract with the Town Hall. However, the Mayor has since confirmed that K9 do in fact have a contract with the Town Hall to collect, care for and re-home abandoned animals found in this area. On this forum Mr. Wiszniewski also assured the K9 volunteers that they would soon be once again collecting lost and abandoned animals. Yesterday, the local police chief confirmed that they have been told not to contact the K9 volunteers when animals are found in the municipality, he confirmed that the local police have been instructed to call the Cereco pound to instruct them to come here to collect all animals!

Julie its called Life ok. Human beings are more important than animals ok. So thats that. Instead of focuisng all your attention on home-less dogs and cats try that on kids who are left by there parents or abused. Its not all about the animals anymore.

Write a new contract so that The Ivory Tower has a record and then ask our politicians what the problem is?

Hi mark, this is not just about animals, its about being lied to by the council from day 1. Will you be so forgiving when we lose something else because the council need to make cut backs. You stated earlier that they sacked the 2 employees from the town hall because they are in debt but how can they justify that when they took on 5 new employees, paying them more than double what the previous employees were getting and paying 40,000€ more a year in wages to themselves and employees! All we want is the truth and not be taken for idiots who believe everything they say.
